February fun for kids Join us for our first ever School Break Color Me Kids Classes. We are offering three exciting classes for the budding artists in your family who are looking for something different to do on their days off from school. Each class is one hour long (from 11am-12pm) and costs only $20 + tax. Space is limited to 10 children per session.
On Thursday, February 16, we are offering a youth glass class. We will use a 6 inch glass base and layer different bits of cut glass on top to create our Confetti Plate. This class requires no glass cutting so it is acceptable for children as young as 6 years old.
On Friday, February 17, we will present our Personalized Plate. Each child will use contact paper letters to stick on their plate before painting a base coat and decorating it with polka dot makers, stamps, or paint bottle caps.
On Monday, February 20, we are using bubbles to paint! Students will paint a mug a base color first and then accent it with our bubble technique. So much fun they won’t want to stop.
Finished pottery pieces by previous customers and staff members populate the room, giving you a sense of possibilities. With over 400 different unfinished ceramic pieces (and approximately 100 styles added per year) there are plenty of items to choose from. A completed piece fronts many of the selections in order to give a sense of the finished item. Every thing is food-safe, our glaze and colors are non-toxic and lead-free. Colors easily wash out with water and do not stain.
